The Mach 1 is a high performance pistol built for flatness, optimized ergonomics, and balance. The Mach 1 utilizes a KKM 5.0” overall length bull barrel and two 0.1875” barrel ports. Moreover, it harnesses my proprietary Striker Compensator that I designed with World Champion Todd Jarrett and Apollo Arms Team Captain Chris Tilley. The Striker utilizes a 45-degree baffle and is the most effective compensator we have used to date. At merely 53 ounces, the Mach 1 is distinctive in how well it points, how flat it shoots, and how predictably it tracks.
I meticulously hand fit each bespoke pistol, one at a time, utilizing the finest measuring instruments, an assortment of custom jigs that I engineered and machined, Swiss files, Japanese and French whetstones, and a manual Bridgeport-style knee mill and manual lathe. My proprietary billet components are also designed, engineered, and machined by me using state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC machines from 6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium, 7075 Aluminum, 17-4 Stainless Steel, and an assortment of “Carbon” Steels including 4340, 4140 and A2 steels. While I draw deeply on the original John Browning 1911 blueprints, I constantly aim to contribute my innovations and machining capabilities to one of the finest platforms in existence at this time.
