The Predator is my flagship Limited Optics pistol. The counterweight block along with the island/rib barrel configuration significantly reduces the felt recoil over bull barrel pistols by increasing static weight while reducing reciprocating mass. The result is a pistol that shoots both flatter and softer.
I meticulously hand fit each bespoke pistol, one at a time, utilizing the finest measuring instruments, an assortment of custom jigs that I engineered and machined, Swiss files, Japanese and French whetstones, and a manual Bridgeport-style knee mill and manual lathe. My proprietary billet components are also designed, engineered, and machined by me using state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC machines from 6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium, 7075 Aluminum, 17-4 Stainless Steel, and an assortment of “Carbon” Steels including 4340, 4140 and A2 steels. While I draw deeply on the original John Browning 1911 blueprints, I constantly aim to contribute my innovations and machining capabilities to one of the finest platforms in existence at this time.
